SALE OF CALVARY PROPERTY:  The Town of Suffield has received notice of the award of the grant which will enable them to purchase the Calvary property for their Senior Center. Patrick J. McMahon, Director of Economic and Community Development for the Town of Suffield wrote to parish leaders this week, “Great news – we are another step closer.  The Board of Selectmen approved moving forward with the acquisition of Calvary this evening.  We had a great turnout of seniors to support the project – somewhere between 40 and 50 people.  Our next step is the Board of Finance this coming Monday.  A Town Meeting is being planned for December 2.  I’ll keep you posted on our progress.”

HELP CLEAN OUT AT CALVARY

And from our Jr. Warden Dave Watson, “First and foremost, I want to thank everyone who came over to Calvary the last two Saturdays to help pack up and move the enormous amount of stuff we have on hand.  I know Saturdays are precious family time and we really appreciate the time you have given us.

*  The Vestry agreed that anyone whose family donated an item to Calvary Church which Holy Trinity does not want, will get first opportunity to have the item back
